New Construction and Growing Neighborhoods in The Villages, Florida

Massive construction changes are currently happening in the southern part of The Villages and Middleton, Florida. The area is growing quickly with new stores, restaurants, and many new houses.

Middleton: A New Downtown Area

Middleton is becoming a busy center for the community. Many new buildings are nearly finished, including a tall and colorful building called the Green Grove Hotel.

Publix Grocery Store	The outside of the building is almost done, and workers are now finishing the inside.
Church at the Springs	This is a very large church with big parking lots on both sides to hold many cars.
Middleton Welcome Center	A main building where people can learn about the area.

There are many choices for food in Middleton. Some are fancy, while others are quick and affordable.

• Treats and Desserts: People visit Abbotts for custard desserts made fresh every day. Another popular spot is Portillos, known for its "chocolate cake shake."
• Dining Out: Restaurants include Four Rivers for lunch, Victory (a sports bar), and Fiesta Grande, which serves Mexican food.
• Affordable Options: A new Jersey Mike’s is opening soon, which provides a more affordable place for families and kids to eat.
• Shopping: There are several clothing stores like Main Street Boutique and Custom Apparel, as well as a shop called the Purple Peg.

New Housing Developments
